904L (UNS N08904) is well-known super-austenitic stainless steel seamless pipe, widely used for corrosive chemical engineering fabrication. Compared with ordinary 304L / 316L austenitic stainless steel, 904L contains higher nickel, chromium and molybdenum elements, plus ultra-low carbon content. It shows superior corrosion resistance against dilute sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, mixed acid and chloride-containing medium, solving many corrosion failure problems which common austenitic grades cannot handle.

Ultra-low carbon design greatly restricts carbide precipitation, so the material keeps good intergranular corrosion resistance even after welding and thermal processing on chemical construction site. Manufactured by hot piercing extrusion, followed by cold rolling or cold drawing for precise dimension tolerance. All pipes undergo full solution annealing treatment at 1090-1150 ℃ and pickling treatment. Standard surface finish is pickled annealed 1D surface.

904L seamless pipe is extensively applied for chemical process pipelines, acid reactor auxiliary piping, chemical heat-exchanger tubes, storage tank connecting pipelines, pickling industry equipment accessories and other chemical engineering fabrication. It is suitable for reducing acid environment, but not fit for high-concentrated strong oxidizing acid working conditions.

Packing 
Inner and outer anti-rust oil coating to prevent oxidation and rust. Plastic end caps protect pipe ends and inner bore from damage. Bundled with high-tensile steel strips. Small-size precision tubes are packed in plywood cases to avoid scratch and deformation. Customized packing scheme is acceptable.
Loading Port 
Main loading ports: Tianjin Port, Shanghai Port. Support FCL, LCL and bulk cargo loading. Other designated Chinese ports can be arranged on request.
Shipping 
Sea freight for large bulk orders (FCL/LCL). Air freight or international express for small trial and urgent sample orders. Customer-appointed freight forwarder is welcomed.
